# 1) Vatican Museum Sistine Chapel, St. Peters OR the Coliseum and Roman Forum- From your ships pier meet your english speaking driver and proceed to the Vatican Museum OR the Coliseum and meet your local guide at 900 AM with reserved admissions and enter either with no standing in line.

See the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, Raphael's Apartment, the Halls of Maps & Tapestries, etc. and St. Peter's Cathedral with its altar by Bernini, the Pieta by Michelangelo and more with a photo stop later outside at the Coliseum.

OR go see the Coliseum with its dungeons and cages for wild animals and the Roman Forum with reserved admission and no standing in line with a stop later to see the Vatican City on your anoramic drive around.Rome.

After your morning tour Stop for a light lunch (not included), and your driver will meet you for a 3 hour city panoramic tour at 200 PM to see the Circus Maximus, the Pantheon, Navona Square, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc. with stops for photos, an Italian coffee or a gelato can be made along the way, time permitting before returning to your ship at 5 PM.

Note -your guide is included for the tour of the Vatican Museum/St Peters OR the Colieseum/Roman Forum for 4 hours. If you would like to have your guide for the full 8 hours there is and additional charge of $370.00 to be confirmed when booking the tour.

Included are a deluxe private car or van, an english speaking driver, guide and reserved admissions. Your guide will point out other sights enroute from one monument to the next and will stop only if it can fit your schedule. A light lunch is suggested but not included.

Your private driver, from port to port, for up to 10 hours will pick you up at 730 am at your ship's pier for the trip to Rome to meet your guide forthe next 8 hours in Rome at 900 am at the Vatican Museum with no stsnding in line for a tour including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peters. At 100 pm, a light quick lunch (not incuded) at a local restaurant and at 200 pm, see the Coliseum (no standing in line) touring tee the main floors and conditions permitting the upper levels and below dungeons where prisoners. wild animals and gladiators waited for their battle to the death before 50,000 spectators. Afterwards the Roman Forum, the seat of government for ancient Rome before returning to your cruise ship in Civitavecchia.

Leave the pier at 830 AM for the ride in a luxury Mercedes Minivan arriving at Diane's kitchen at 10 AM where you will join her for todays lesson and it's hands on, roll up your sleeves time. Get ready for an interesting and inspiring culinary experience.

Only fresh seasonal  produce is used in this cooking school, therefore the dishes vary depending on the time of year. Lunch will consist of food prepared in class, local specialities and wine. Dishes such as deep fried zucchini flowers in yeast batter, Linguine with tuna, lemon and rocket, Baked Pasta Timballo, Pesto sauce, Tagliolini with smoked salmon and cream, Asparagus Risotto, Chicken with black olives and fennel seeds, Veal with artichokes, Pork with fennel and orange,  Stuffed, baked mussels, Octopus salad, Sweet ricotta fritters, Panna Cotta and lots more. Note: make any special dietary requests at the time of booking. All too soon your class is over but the day is not over.

You still have time AND it's your choice is to have a local guide show you the hidden gems in/around the Piazza Venezia seeing Navona Sqaure, the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain or shopping near the Spanish Steps and Via Condotti where the top stores incude Armani, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and too many others to mention OR a driver at your disposal who will take take you for a panoramic tour of the sights of the Eternal City. Anywhere you may want to go. You'll be back at your ship by 600 PM with a taste of Rome and memories of an unique and memorable day with a famous author and chef.
