"the Big 3"

Tour # 1 - the BIG 3 Option 1- 8:00 AM - your full day guide ship to ship (included in price) meets you and escorts you to the adjacent Maritime Pier for the 8:30 AM, 40 minute jetfoil (included in price) to Capri. On arrival take the funicular/cable car (included in price) from the marina to the city center for a 2 hour visit with guide. Return to the pier for the 11:40 AM jetfoil (included in price) to Sorrento arriving at Noon. Time for lunch and see a bit of Sorrento leaving at 1:30 PM with your guide & a car and driver (included in price) to Pompeii where you will have a two hour tour (included in price) and be back at your ship in in Naples by 500 PM.

Tour #2 - the BIG 3 Option 2 - Capri -Sorrento - Amalfi Coast Drive - everything the same as Option 1, except instead of going to Pompeii visit Positano & Amalfi before returning to your ship in Naples.

Tour #3) Amalfi Coast with Farm Visit - Full Day - 830 AM, with english speaking driver (full day guide optional). Drive south through Sorrento to the beginning of the famous Amalfi coastline on your way to Positano. Visit a local farm, a garden of oranges, lemons, vines and olives. After drinking a glass of good local wine and regional snacks and then onto Positano as the road winds along the coast with its spectacular views.

Positano with the Madonna perched on the cliff above the town. Stop in Positano, see the ceramics and hand blown glass products the area is famous for. A coffee stop, and then Amalfi, and visit Saint Andrew's Cathedral built in the 12th and 13th centuries in Arab-Norman style. From Amalfi along the panoramic road to Ravello, time permitting, a resort made famous by Jackie Kennedy. See the amazing views across the gulf of Salerno & take photos of some of the most breathtaking views. Lunch (not included) at a typical family restaurant & sample genuine local food and wine. At the end of the day, your ship awaits and you will have photos and memories galore. enough to last you till your next trip to Italy and the Amalfi Coast

Tour #4) Pompeii & Amalfi Coast - 8:30 AM your English speaking driver and car or van will meet you at the pier and head south from Naples to Pompeii where a local guide (included in price) will meet you and take you on a 2 hour tour of the excavations. Continuing on through Sorrento you can have lunch (not included) along the Amalfi coast at one of many restaurants for a light lunch and will stop for a visit in Positano, a former fishing village, now home of many artists and writers and then onto Amalfi and St Andrews Cathedral (included in price) built in the 12th & 13th centuries. You'll have time for photo stops local craft stops and see olive oil and limoncello producers, wood products, etc. along the coast before returning to your ship by 5 PM.

Tour # 5) Pompeii & Vesuvius - 8:30 AM full day tour to Pompeii with a full day (ship to ship) english speaking private guide (included in price) in both parks visiting the excavations of these ancient cities their buildings, mosaics, and artifacts and in the afternoon tour the rim of Mt. Vesuvius, the national park and the dormant crater. During the day stop for lunch (not included) and local restaurant and back to your ship by 530PM. .

Five fantastic tours. Prices include guides where indicated, car/van, driver, fuel & tolls, Pompeii & Vesuvius admissions, Jetfoil & funicular. Not included are meals and gratuities for guides and/or drivers.

Important: Wear comfortable shoes. You must be able to walk over cobblestone surfaces and climb steps and sloping paths in historic areas and gardens. Most churches impose a dress code and admission can be refused. Shorts, tank tops & revealing clothing is not acceptable. Knees and shoulders should be covered. In case of inclement weather or in the event that an attraction is closed another event will be substituted.
