Former President Bill Clinton was asked for his favorite destinations at the European Travel Commission's annual Trans-Atlantic Travel Marketing Conference at the Waldorf-Astoria, New York City, December 2002. Larger countries such as France and Germany are perfect introductions for first-time visitors, he said, but smaller Ireland, Estonia and the Czech Republic are also favorites.  "But when I just want to be happy, I go to Italy."

Florence & Rome

Hi Steve,

We got back last week from Italia and what a wonderful time we had!! Thank you so much for arranging everything so elegantly!

Everything was perfect. We absolutely loved Firenze and hated to leave. The Adriatico Hotel was lovely. We had a huge breakfast every morning (that included scrambled eggs and bacon every day.) Our room was beautifully decorated and we had a Plasma TV and a jacuzzi tub. The jacuzzi was great cause I was sore from so much walking!

We loved each of the tours we took especially the wine tasting and the cooking class with Barbara. It was really great fun!

Rome was very busy. We did a lot of walking there as well. The weather was very warm which was a wonderful surprise. In fact our last day in Rome must have been in the low 80's. We took the metro from the Colliseum to the hotel and experienced train travel at rush hour!

Thanks again so much for providing us with one of the best vacations we could ever imagine. I will recommend you to anyone.

Touring in Tuscany

Steve, I just wanted to tell you that both of our tours set up with you were perfect. A great way to experience the Uffizi. We love Italy even more because of you. Custom Tour of Italy

Before I get too lost in my day to day routine, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the great vacation itinerary you put together for us.  I've been to Italy twice before but never did I come away feeling I learned so much about the places I visited (and many places were repeat visits).  Not only were the events varied, but the private tours were wonderful.  All of the tour guides from Sara in Venice through Gigi in Rome were wonderful and enhanced the experience significantly.  Thank you again.

Ski Tour

Steve, Just got back from Passo Tonale on Friday, the whole experience was incredible!

To learn to ski at 44 with my family, the location, accomodation, tuition, and weather made it truely memorable, and you were the conduit!.....Thankyou.

We already have made the decision to go back next year through yourself of course.

Once again a huge thank you for an outstanding weeks skiing holiday, I recommend you to everyone I know, so hopefully be prepared for future business out of Scotland.

Venice & Ski Tour

I just want to thank you again for helping us with our trip to Italy. As I mentioned before Villa Igea upgraded us to an apartment and Venice was wonderful.

We had a great weather for skiing in Passo del Tonale and the quad accommodations at Miramonti were comfortable. You could not ask for a
better location and the ski shop was friendly attentive

Overall a wonderful vacation memory.
