A car and a licensed driver or guide is a good way to go, the most expensive in cost but the benefits are great. You maximize your time seeing and doing more. Your english speaking driver and/or guide are another well worthwhile investment. Imagine, your own travel expert, by your side, through museums, churches, historic sites and it seems every street and centuries old building has its own story that you'll never hear driving by in a bus. If you fall in love with an area, you can always go back on your own the next.

When you read the wine tour itineraries, consider if you can DIY. Are you an oenologist (wine expert) or sommelier (wine expert)? Do you know what are the right wines to go with your lunch, you driver does (he's Italian) and if traveling with friends in groups of 4 or more you're paying bus tour prices. The more in your private group, the better.

During your visit to Florence, a day well spent means exploring Tuscany to sample one of many famous wines Brunello - Barolo - Chianti - Nobile - Sassicaia- Vermaccia and more. The rolling hills, fields of sunflowers, olive groves, vineyards, ancient castles, palaces and walled towered cities.

We offer half- and full-day guided tours to Tuscan wineries including vineyard visits; wine tasting with a Tuscan snack. Lunch is optional, it depends on what you're in the mood for; a light lunch or a more traditional meal. If you want to exercise that option, let us know.

Winery excursions may be scheduled for any date and conducted in your language. Pick-up service from your hotel or other location can also be arranged.

Private wine tours can be scheduled for as few as one passenger up to six to eight persons comfortably and conveniently. Rates vary depending on the nature of the program, the time and distance covered and for larger groups we will be glad to quote on request.
